Mira Shower - Front Cover Panel Gap

by rmsgrange » Mon Jul 06, 2020 5:11 pm

Hi,

We've got a Mira Sport 9.0 shower (model J03B) installed about 5 years ago.

A couple of days ago the light on the on-off switch stopped working. The shower is still working with no changes to pressure/heat etc. However I've also noticed that the front cover has a small gap at the front towards the bottom - it's only about 1mm and the cover panel is still flush at the top - almost as though it's begun to warp at the bottom. I've checked all the screws and everything seems to be fine.

I don't think the panel has been knocked or that (and I've certainly never had the need or desire to open it up) so I'm assuming this is possibly wear and tear.

My question is could this be related to the light going off and is there any danger of water getting into the shower innards from this gap?
