Moisture or Condensation on Windows and Cupboard on Exterior Wall

by mee » Sun Oct 26, 2014 11:53 pm

I have a bedroom where 1) the windows get condensation on sometimes in the winter and 2) a cupboard which is on the outside wall. The wall facing the outside had mold on it but have now used damp seal over it.

Now in the winter I find that my windows are getting condensation on them by the time its morning, however have found that placing pots of water help solve this. However the thing is is that in my cupboard I have placed wardrobe-moisture-absorber-crystrals and water has started to collect in the bag indicating that moisture is there.

If placing water pots helps solve condensation on my windows, can this method work for my cupboard?

I am concerned that the crystals in the cupboard will draw in the water particles from the pot of water I have placed on my window sill. So do I place water pots on my window sill and cupboard OR shall I get moisture absorbing crystals for my window sill and cupboard?
