Moving into the home - friday

by erniewilson » Thu Aug 16, 2007 5:10 pm

Good afternoon - or whatever.

I have several tradesmen coming around to look at a property i have bought to be my home next week.

Can anyone give me some BALL PARK figures what to expect - I realise these may be generalisations but any assistance would be appreciated

The propert is a 1903 mid terraced 3 bed property and I require the following.

All the ground floor walls damp proofing? - 8 walls picked up on the survey (no wet rot or infestation spotted - JUST rising damp)

A full central heating system as the back boiler seems to have had its day
I want a new system with 8 raidiators installed........

The replacement of the bay window in stone - taking out the horrid PVC rubbish presently in place.

finally - as if this isnt enough a complete rewire!!!!!!!!

Just a good job I love the place I suppose.

Any ballpark guessstimates would be appreciated and not held as liable in a court of law - lol
