nail holes in fibre cement slates - do they cause staining?? Information, help and tips on many areas of roofing including trusses, tiling, venting, insulation etc....

Hello,

Can you tell me if holes drilled in fibre cement slates, for copper nails/crampions will cause staining via the rain washing cement powder down the roof.

In some slates I'm using I've had to drill holes which end up being unused , will these holes cause more cement staining?
