Hi,
I am new to this forum.
We are renovating our house. It's a very old one and thought about changing the faucets, door knobs, buy new furniture and change the damaged windows and doors. We need to complete the works before the winter.
We are having a confusion choosing the windows. We were having double hung windows and it was very difficult to move especially during the winter. One window in my son's room is jammed, and he complains about it every day.
In this article here, they have specified the differences between the windows. http://www.heritagehomedesign.ca/blog/p ... dow-types/ And, I think the traditional Casement windows will give a good look and allows good ventilation, but the Will it let cold air in through the gaps during the winter? It concerns me.
I would like to get your suggestions on this.
Thank you.
