hi guys.

Im wanting to install a dishwasher in my kitchen. There is an attatchment under the sink connected to the cold water pipe. its a Brass Drain Cock and was wondering if i can connect a dishwasher to that to get the water supply. If so how can i do it. if now what work arounds can i do?

Many thanks

Leave the drain-cock alone - you may well need it sometime.

You'll need to add a T-junction on the cold-water-feed to match the input-hose to the dishwasher and a drain to remove the dirty water. This is usually an open U-pipe [35mm plastic-pipe attached to the sink-drain] into which you can stick the output-hose from the new machine.
Of course, you'll also need a power-supply socket with an ELCB [Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker] for safety.

For a 'hidden' unit, you'll need a door to match your other kitchen-cabinets - otherwise you'll just need a gap beneath your work-top to match the size of the dishwasher.

Good luck!
