New Boiler Installed but not Registered With Local Authority

by twedspeed » Thu Aug 03, 2017 2:51 am

in 2014 I got a lovely new boiler fitted by a reputable local plumber - Im selling the house and it turns out he didn't register it with the local authority !!! Even worse I can't get in touch with him - Im not sure if he's gone out of business or moved away or retired ??
Obviously this is holding up the sale of the property - I am unable to contact him.
I Don't want to loose the sale of my house - what can I do to get the certificate I need ????
Obviously this is very stressful - any help much appreciated.

You need to get in touch with GAS Safe on see if this person is registered for installing GAS boilers, if not then you need to get someone else who is to give you a certificate, hope the house sale goes through.
