Morning All
I am currently having a rear extension built and yesterday the builder lay a screed 75mm sand cement screed which went down beautifully.
However with the wonderful weather we had yesterday and today the rain has managed to find its way through the unfinished roof and I now have 3 areas where the water has constant dripped causing holes in the screed, all of which have gone through the surface.
As a consequence one corner of the extension is now very wet and the top of the screed looks saturated.
The builder isn’t back until Tuesday however I just wanted to know what should be done to put it right. Is it a simple case of leaving it to dry out and then filling the holes or should they cut the screed and re do it?
I have underfloor heating below which sits on a DPM above insulation.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks in advance!
