New kitchen plumbing help please

by alison1971 » Sun Jan 04, 2009 11:17 am

Hello

I would appreciate any help on a kitchen problem;
On a house I am interested in buying, there is no kitchen...nothing at all...
there is however a 16ft x10 empty room with no plumbing which obviousley would make a good kitchen....
There has/is at the moment a downstairs Loo under the stairs which would be in the kitchen if it wasnt separated by a little false wall. Presuming here that I did not want the sink for the intended kitchen where the Loo had been, how would I go about putting a sink at the furthest end away in teh room? Would this be possible as there is no plumbing there, and would this be a big job and an expensive job?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Alison :) :) :)

Hi Alison,
Lots of things to consider, there must be a supply nearby as you say downstairs toilet.
Where does the supply originate?
What are the floors made of (can the pipes run underneath the floor to this room)?
But your main concern is the waste pipes from your sink and kitchen appliances to the outside drains, are there any suitablly located to make this work?
