New UPVC Frames and Glazing and Quality to Expect

by danjoe » Sat May 08, 2021 4:10 pm

Hi All,

I've had to create a shared google document which shows my faults easier, hope you don't mind
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KC2 ... sp=sharing

I recently received my new UPVC Frames from a supplier in Bedford, and have found a couple of faults with these. Please find these below: is anyone able to advise if I'm being to fussy, especially about
1. the shiny line marks found on the UPVC frames
2. the fabricated dirt within the Spacer Bars
3. the little spec of fabricated dirt on the glass within the inside of the glass
4. the black scuff marks on most of the frames
5. should the autumn leafs privacy glass have this issue

any advise much appreciated in advance. thanks

The supplier advertises:
So, we use our own fleet of delivery vehicles, to make sure that you receive them safely and securely, rather than use a third party courier.

Hi danjoe
Unfortunately your link to a Google site does not work so it is difficult to comment about your issues.
With the exception of black marks on the frames - which your supplier should correct - it depends on the severity of the defects.
Regards S
