New World 55 Gas Oven too Hot after Thermostat Replacement Information, help and advice on many gas related subjects from gas fires to domestic appliances

I replaced the thermostat and sensor on a New World 55 gas oven because it was burning very hot even on Slow setting.

This had no effect.

Turning the thermostat to maximum only slightly increases the flame from near maximum to maximum.

Any ideas?
