we have just installed a vented hot water system but we are only able to get hot water to the shower no water (hot or cold )to the rest of the house the plumber has come off the 22m pipe hot from the tank to a 15m tee for the shower and 15m to the excesting 22m pipe hot feed to sink bath ect. The plumber has gone sick and will be of work for 2 weeks so i cannot get him to sort it out . could going from 22m 15m pipe and back again be the cause

i dont understand why you have no cold water as this should be feeding seperatly from the hot
back to the hot problem
is the water pressure to the shower good or bad if bad then it problems means you probarly have a air lock below the shower draw off point
i would check that the cold supply is all turned on especially the feed to the hot water tank this would then give you the pressure to get the hot going

after more checks i have found that the sink cold was turned off at the tap connecter and cold to basin and the bath are not connerted i have undone joint at highest point on the hot pipe from tank to check for air lock but to no avail still no hot water thanks for your reply terry
