I have a combi boiler and about 2 year ago, the hot water in Bath trickled through. I tried changing the washer and it worked for about a week then stopped again. There is now absolutely no water coming through whatsoever. I've been using a hose from the bathroom sink to fill up the bath, however the hot tap in the sink has now stopped working. It works for a minute, then the water goes to a trickle and then stops. It seems to trickle better when half turned. When the tap is fully turned, it completely stops. Unfortunately, I went to change the washer but the nut is so tight, I couldn't take it apart to check. No problems with the cold taps and the hot tap downstairs in the kitchen is fine. After reading on forums, I've got the impression air locks tend to be uncommon with combi boilers and not really sure what else to try. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
