when toilet is flushed a load humming noise is heard,if hot tap is turned on it stops, what could this be.please help. also we have a mira shower that after a few seconds goes cold and service light comes on plese help.

hi, it sounds like there could be a problem with you cold water mains water pressure. that would cause a noise when re filling the toilet cistern, and also low pressure to the shower may cause the fault light to come on. check your mains stop cock is fully open then turn back a quarter turn.
