? Non Standard Tubular Latch Size

by Deeko99 » Mon Aug 12, 2024 11:27 pm

Hi

I'm hoping to replace a number of tubular latches on some old internal doors that have been painted over and are showing their age. However after removing few and measuring the back set they don't seem to be "standard" (I'm measuring around 74mm or 2 7/8").

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi deeko99,
You may be able to find a latch with adjustable backset, if not you may have to use a 3 inch backset one and adjust the handle position slightly.
Regards S
