I have bought new oak doors for my house what is the best way of finishing them to bring out the best in the wood without changing the natural colour of the wood and having a Rolls Royce finish to the doors.
I would do a few samples on some spare bits if you can . Acylics won't darken the appearance to much but they won't enhance the grain , Oil will darken the wood more but it does lift the grain ,
