Original Masonry Window Frames and How to Protect Them

by Mistermister » Tue Aug 28, 2018 5:32 pm

Moved in to an old house that has been done up through the years. Original rough hewn masonry of window frames is still bare but is showing signs of wear with a fine crumble/dust coming off it.
I'm looking in to putting a protective sealant on it before hard weather of winter comes along but worried that I may do more harm than good if use something that is non-porous? Was looking to apply Everbuild GEOSTONE5 Geo-Fix Stone Protector. Would be great to get info on best practise to slow down wear/crumble on these.
