Paint shading different at top and bottom of wall

by sitchey » Thu Jun 10, 2021 7:37 am

Hi
I've just painted a room in a washable teal matt paint. The room was rolled with the edges cut in before. Everything was painted over onto a white painted wall.

The paint has dried, but along the bottom and top the paint is a lot lighter than the middle. I know how too much paint or heavy brush strokes can make the area darker. But this is throwing me. Why is it lighter? Too less paint?

Have three coats on overall, but still have the lighter marks. Any ideas very much welcome

Thanks
