Hi! Im hoping someone can help me.
We moved into a period cottage 6 months ago. There is a small section of wall in our kitchen (maybe about 90cm x 50cm) with what is definitly newer plaster underneath. Each time we paint this section of wall, within days the paint starts cracking and peeling. It then turns to powder and falls away.
To my untrained eyes, the plaster beneath seems dry.
Does anyone know what causes this and if there is anything to prevent the paint falling off like this?
