Hello,

I've noticed a few gaps in the brickwork leading to the soffit. While this provides airflow to the crawl spaces, I've also seen a couple of old wasps nests. Is there something I can use to fill these gaps that maintains the airflow while preventing wasps from entering?

You should never rely on "a few gaps" for air flow. Seal the gaps, and install soffit vents if there are none.

The thing is, if I seal those gaps there will be no airflow from the soffits making its way into the crawl space. There are bricks right up to the roofing felt in these crawl spaces.




According to my hygrometer readings there is no issue with the current amount of air flow.
