Pipe dripping backwards into wall

by Beatrice1711 » Tue Aug 05, 2025 8:50 am

I have a pipe coming out of my home where the pipe is dripping backwards along the underneath of the pipe onto my wall causing damp. Can someone advise on how I would stop this?

Attached a photo but it’s not super clear to see the droplets going backwards

Thanks!

Remove the cause of its flow (i.e. Tank over filling) angle it downwards, apply something to stop water running backwards

Angling it downwards makes sense, what can I apply to stop the water from running backwards?
