I have a canopy with roof measuring 1500 x 770mm and have got 500 x 250mm Venta premium slates that I'd like to use on
it. The holes are drilled 180mm from the top edge.Please can someone advise how to set the battens out in order to use these slates?
I've spent the afternoon trying to lay out the slates in a way that will fit the space, its obvious that they will be 6 across but I'm having difficulty seeing how I arrange the rows with suitable overhang and spacing.
Yes this is my first attempt at slating a roof so simple directions would be appreciated. Many thanks in anticipation.
