Raking out mortar joints easily

by thedoctor » Mon Aug 03, 2015 6:55 pm

We were asked during our webinar on external maintenance just now, what the name was of the best tool for taking out the mortar in brickwork joints.

The answer is a mortar rake, and the best of these (in our opinion) is the 4-bladed rake from Irwin.....Image attached

Go take a look at the recorded webinar to see what they are... Simply put them in your drill and awayyou go!! https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/about_us/services/webinars/
