Old Aluminium Double Glazed Doors and Possible Asbestos

by kandykane » Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:09 pm

Hello,

Wondered if someone might please help? Have old type aluminium grey doors and windows in old fifties terrace. Had loads of aib asbestos removed but still think it's everywhere. This morning I noticed that some of the inside buffering stuff to stop the door as it closes in side, like a fringe all the way down it is loose. Now I have noticed it's grey and fibrous I am afraid. My husband says it's ridiculous and it's nylon or something, can anyone advise please that it's not sinister?
Many thanks
