Hey Guys and Gals :D

Hope some 1 can help :? , ive plastered 4 walls so far ( i use the term plastered loosely :lol: ) , and the problem ive encountered , is the 5th wall is out of plumb , and the brickwork is is so uneven , its just not funny , the staircase has lot of bricks inset by an inch , and some are protruding an inch , so i,ve now got a 50 mm difference from the extremes .
So the question is , would it be advisable to still use an undercoat (50mm thick in areas) to make wall even, then skim , or can some 1
suggest another method . One of my mates suggested taking the individual bricks out and relaying them level , needless to say i had 2 words , and 1 of them was off :lol: , to many bricks to do .

Fill the holes with sand and cement mixed at 4 to 1 and cut off the 1inch protrusion with a bolster. Then plaster the whole lot with Carlite Hardwall, then skim.

Advice appreciated , will attempt the bolstering and filling , got to be better than relaying the bricks :wink: .

Could have considered batonning then boarding , but i still needed to find a way of leveling the wall off , with the brickwork 5" out of
plumb and really uneven ( 50mm extremes ) , it seems to overlap either
both door frames :roll: , but the bolstering and cementing suggestion by Doc , seems to be working alright so far " TOUCH WOOD " :wink: ,
Anyway I reallllly appreciate your suggestion m8y .
