Hi there need little advise going to convert loft into store room / man cave lol maybe train track etc up there to get away from kids lol so basically wanna no before I start are these removable ? They are flexible and don't seem to be doing any job ? There is 3 intotal and we are a mid terraced house pice below of the 3 timbers which I wanna remove they are knee height once standing in loft

Hi

It's very hard to tell from the image if they are actually an integral part of the roof structure. As commented, they may be there to prevent roof spread and the whole roof collapsing.

When doing anything with roofs it's best to get things looked at by a structural engineers or builder with the appropriate experience to confirm that they can be safely removed
