Hi All,

I have a large hole 10 cm wide, 10 cm high and 5 cm deep in my brick wall and I would like to know what is the best way to fill it. Once it is filled I would like to be able to drill holes in it so that I can hang curtain holders.

Mix a P.V.A solution and apply it on the area, then mix some dry wall adhesive and fill the holes, the mixture should be like thick cream, over fill the holes slightly and sand back when set 24hrs later

Thanks but since the hole is quite deep if I fill only with wall adhesive would I be able to drill and hang curtain on the filled hole?

Pino, I think you should use cement plaster on the deep holes. Make cement mixture liquid type and paste the liquid cement into the hole. Hopefully it'll be add nicely, so that you can later make hole to hang curtain holders.
