I have an old leaking radiator, which is beyond repair, so I've turned both the valves off (clockwise) with a wrench. Obviously no heat comes through & the leaked ceased once the radiator was empty but when I increased my water pressure via the boiler the leak started again. I thought switching both valves off would have stopped any water getting through. Will I have to remove the radiator altogether? Help.
