I have a bathroom that is a kind of Jack & Jill arrangement with two doorways accessing the space.

Ideally I want just one door, so that when one doorway is opened it automatically blocks off the other.

Does anyone have any tips as to how this might be done, e.g. what type of hinge, what type of latch mechanism? etc.

As you said when the bathroom door is open it block off other. Hopefully this works for you?
