Matching Dado rail

by aitch » Sat Mar 24, 2007 10:31 am

We have recently removed a cupboard in one of our rooms and now have a problem matching an existing dado rail. Having gone to the usual DIY High Street stores and tried matching on the Internet we cannot seem to find a dado rail that matches.

Can you recommend somewhere we might be able to get this dado or what we can do.....changing the whole dado is not an option as the whole house has the same dado rail

Thanks
H

Go to a local joinery shop and they will be able to make you up a section of dado to match. The other option is to trawl architectural salvage yards.
