Best Method for Repairing Badly Pitted Exterior Render

by ummagumma » Thu Mar 24, 2016 7:45 pm

Have got an outside brick wall that's been rendered but it looks like the surface of the moon It's terrible.

It's uneven and pitted all over and its only been done a few weeks as we've just moved ito a new house.

What Is the best way to fix this/make it flat I've just painted it white and it shows the lumps and bumps up more now

paint a pva solution on the wall, mix sand, cement, lime in a ratio of 4:1:1 and apply, level it off as best you can and smooth it over with a wet sponge, take your time, use gloves and goggles for protection
