Hi I'm hoping some one can help me. We are currently remodelling our bathroom and under the bath is an abject that a pipe runs through and then up into the cold tap on the bath. Any ideas on what it is and whether it can be moved?

That's a scale inhibitor,you fill it with crystal balls regularly,yes you can take it out it's not really doing anything unless it's connected to a combi boiler.
