Hello,

Looking for some advice about replacing the Euro cylinder lock on a conservatory door. I've just bought a house an annoyingly the key for the secondary patio door i.e. Not the one which has the 5-point bar moving wasn't given to us.

I have seen various posts & videos about the ease of replacing a euro cylinder lock however one odd point is that the central locking screw that holds the cylinder in place is not visible. Before I break the existing one, I want to know I'll be able to install the new lock.

Any ideas?

put the key in the lock and turn it slightly to the right, and pull at the same time, not to hard, and it should pull out.
If it doesn't, unscrew the screws near the lock and try again.

Thanks for replying but you are missing that the lock is locked and I don't have the key. So the question is about removing the existing cylinder and more importantly securing the new one.

You will have to drill the lock to break the insides or if the lock isn't flush with the door and it's protruding you can snap the lock using a hammer and bolster

You need to drill out the lock with hammer to snap the lock... it'll damages the door..
