Discoloured external bricks in property looking to purchase

by bourneo » Fri Jul 08, 2016 6:59 pm

I hope someone can help please. We're looking to buy this property, but we are a little worried about the difference of colour in the external bricks work. Some look whiter than the others. Can anyone confirm what has caused this and if there is a remedy. This is a new build. Thanks for any expertise.

the white deposit is called efflorescence, Caused by salt in the material drying out. It causes no effect to the structural integrity of the building and will disappear in time.
