Painting wooden floor

Hi There,

Want to paint our stair case which is wooden, anyway, a bit worried that could be quite slipery, is there any specialist paint we should use for it, gloss or else? thanks for your help,

Try Farrow & Ball or Fired Earth floor paints.
Very heavy duty MATT paint and the best for floors as it is non-slip.
