Grundfoss pump G/V 1 moves 25mm G/V 2 no movement, G/V 3 turns on off quite easy. G/V 4 moves 25mm. Not a power shower as shower I replaced was standard gravity system. Same as the second shower/bathroom with all hot taps delivering hot water.
The outflow from hot water tank to the Grundfoss pump is warm near pump but gets hotter by the joint which is the hot water feed from tank to taps and showers. My thoughts are is this pump connected somewhere under the floor to the kitchen hot feed pipe, and because three of the four valve are stuck the delivery to the kitchen is slow done in a way as to not interfere with gravity fed in both adjoining bathrooms.
The Kitchen is 16mt away and now wondering if the pump has a link to the kitchen hot water tap. Currently it takes around 3 -4 mins to obtain, ‘burny burny hotly water delivery mode ‘ ‘ Wintry timely longer timeload waity waity for burny burny water’ as Professor Stanley Unwin comedian/actor would say.
Would it be connect to the kitchen hot water delivery pipe somewhere under floor and done this way to prevent too quick delivery to hot taps in the shower room where this airing cupboard is and the bathroom (shower and bath ) adjoining. Another thought is to get all valves to work to see if there is a change in delivery of hot water to kitchen make burny burny water get there in 30 secs to 1 min.
What would the likely cost be to get valves changed reducing the amount an have new pump fitted.?
