So had a problem that a screw that kept the hinge on the pin for the toilet seat had rusted. As far as I can tell, someone replaced the locking screw with some other type of screw, one not suitable for wet environments. Either way, metal fatigue set in and there is no way to fix that hinge, so time to replace it.
My problem is that I can't access the hinges from below, so was going for these ones
