Can someone help/make suggestions?
When I try to open my bathroom door the handle pulls back the latch (as it should do), but not quite all the way. I tried fixing this by replacing the inner mechanism with a new one, and it seemed to be working. Still not pulling the latch back all the way, but no worse than it was. The first few times of opening/shutting the door was OK. But now... it've shut the door, and now the handle moves, but the door is just caught on the latch and I can't get it open at all. I've tried removing the faceplate, but the lock mechanism catch is preventing me removing it completely. And of course, to remove that I need to get into the bathroom. Anyone got any suggestions?
