Lost Toilet Brush Head Down Loo

by T2Dale » Sat Oct 08, 2016 12:33 pm

I thought I'd do a bit of housework while my wife was out this morning, but whilst giving the loo a good clean the brush head came off. Not really wanting to put my hand down the loo I attempted to just screw it back on, but this only succeded in pushing it further down. Eventually I put my hand in to pull it out but I couldnt get a good grip on it due to the bloo cleaner Id put in the toilet, and only managed to push it further down, as a final resort I stuck a wire unblocking tool down the loo in the hope it would be able to get a purchase on it and pull it out, unfortunately this has pushed it even further, I now don't know if it's still in the loo, or has gone right through - the toilet seems to flush liquid perfectly normally, but I'm concerned that this brush head is still in there, or is going to cause problems further down. My wife is going to go ballistic when she gets back, we only had this new bathroom fitted in january. Any ideas before I call the plumber in?
