I am in the process of buying a new build house. I have already decided it will have laminate in all rooms. The house is fairly large and I like the minimalistic look with bright white walls. I was going to have a light oak laminate but am told this may give a cold feel to the house and should go for darker ( charcoal ) effect flooring. Any thoughts? I am rubbish at this sort of thing.
