Prepping and Filling Big Gaps Around Window

by Moveonup » Fri Feb 03, 2017 8:42 pm

Please see the four images uploaded onto the google drive link below.

I need to prep and repair the area around the window. I feel the right thing to do is pull out all the old silicon filler and re-fill.

What I find a little daunting is the size of the gap to fill.

How is the best way to do this and what should I use, expanding filler, silicon ??

you can fill the gap with expanding foam, then instead of filling over it with silicone you can buy small plastic trims to cover the gap. Try https://www.gap.uk.com
