I have a safe I was wanting to bolt to the floor however I don’t want to drill through wires or pipes. I’d considered buying a pipe detector however for a one off job I’d rather not so I had another idea.
If I slowly drill through the floorboards then when I’m almost through break the thin film of wood that is left I will be able to see if there are pipes or wires.
Will this work or is there a better way of doing it.
