Help With Sticking Windows in Shed Treated With Creosote

by timd » Wed Feb 15, 2017 9:31 pm

Hello

I need to fix windows in a shed that is treated with 'creacote' and tried using silicon sealant but this doesn't stick. Would putty work and can anyone recommend a product?

Thanks!

Must be a tricky one to answer? I'm guessing an oil based (linseed) putty wouldn't be affected? Hopefully someone may know??

bed the glass in with putty and use timber beading to hold it in place
