Radiator Cover Added but Radiator Cuts out After an Hour All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Just bought a radiator cover but radiator keeps cutting out after about an hour. Ive left a 30mm gap between top of radiator and shelf. Cover 900m by 1400mm
Any ideas?

is your themo stats inside the radiator cover
if so thats your problem they are getting to hot and switching off your radiator

I think the radiator could not handle the heat that is why it shut down after an hour. Does your radiator's cooling system still working?
