What Electrical Cable is This as Need to Make 13amp Water Heater Extension

Hi
Can anyone help identify this Electrical cable please?

It has the correct live, earth and neutral wires. I believe it to be for domestic 13amp 230v use. I've had the reel for about 4 years and have forgotten but i'm pretty sure . I need to make an extension to a 2.8kw 13amp water heater via an isolation box.

Hope you can help.
Many thanks

The drum reel label, indicates it is 1.00mm2, so this is only suitable for a maximum 10A load.
So this is not suitable for your desired application.

I looked for manufacturers spec on the cable, but failed to find it, in general cable is either rated 60 degs C standard for flex, 70 degs C standard for twin and earth or 90 degs C often Cross - linked Polyethylene (XLPE) or Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) unfortunately they look the same.

I think this http://www.bbccable.com/uploads/prysmia ... _3183B.pdf is the cable in which case it is 10 amp. Flex is always rated as being in free air, other cables are rated according to how installed.

Thank you Both.
Looks like you've prevented a risk. I'll buy some appropriate cable.
Skimping to buy Guinness is one thing but staying alive to drink it is better.
:)
Thanks again.
