Hi All (first post - please be kind!)
I'm not a plumber. Recently fit a mixer tap which has sprung a tiny leak from one of the water inlets where I've connected from the mains to the tap.
The pipe is no wider than 5 or 6 mil. and the burst is tiny it just obviously sprays out tons of water when under pressure.
I know that I should just take it off and send it back but it was a t*#t to get on and I would be happy to repair and have done.
I will add a photo later to help. Construction is of a gold finish to the pipes so possibly brass?
Will solder hold suitably?
Space is limited and I won't be splicing a new section in or anything of that complexity.
Any advice on the best fix would be appreciated. Thanks
