Hope somebody can help with some advice..its not really DIY.
My mum and Dad , both in their late eighties, both very frail and ill had theyre gas fire and boiler serviced by british gas.Because theyre old and dont like change the fire and boiler are really old but still working. They have a gas fire and a back boiler.
After the service was finished the engineer accidentally broke the glass on the fire by pushing it with his knee, the glass cannot be replaced apparently.
we are trying to sort out a way for them to have a fire in the living room but they need to leave the back boiler in place for the central heating/hot water.
would we be able to put a flueless fire where the gas fire is now, leaving ventilation for the back boiler?
any help much appreciated....
