I have recently had a full damp course done on a four bedroom semi detatched house. I am concerned this was not done correctly as once they had knocked the plaster off, insterted the brick work with the damp course 'stuff', they then plaster boarded where they had knocked plaster off and skimed over it. Is this the correct proceedure?
There is also a large patch of plaster in the dining room (located on the ground floor) that looks darker than the rest (looks wet) on the middle of an exterior wall. The plastering was done over three months ago so should have fully dried by now? Could you please advise what this might be?
