Hanging net Curtains on uPVC Windows Without Drilling Holes

by freddyq » Thu Aug 10, 2017 3:47 pm

Hi all, I'm desperately looking for a solution to this issue. We've just had brand new windows installed and need to get net curtains up on two of the bay windows and I really want to avoid drilling holes.

Initially I read you could use the plastic hooks which come with adhesive pads on them but to get rid of the adhesive pads and use a strong glue instead. So I did that and used some no more nails glue but within a few hours the hooks had come down. We can't use the telescopic rods because it's a bay. My feeling is that there must be a special type of glue which attaches to uPVC which would work but I don't know what it is - anyone know?

I'm using 6 hooks on each bay to reduce the amount of tension and travel on the net curtain wire but without the right adhesive I feel like I won't get anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated!
