Hanging a Plasma above gas fire

Is it possible to hang a plasma screen on a chimney breast with a coal effect gas fire.

It is possible to do this yes....however it may that safe. Your TV needs to kick out warm air to work. If its above a fire it may not get proper chance to cool properly and could quite easily catch alight. Try hanging a thermometre on the wall where you want your TV and have the fire on one night to see how hot it gets. This will let you know how warm your no doubt' pride and joy TV' will get. Tvs wall hung like this look cool, but can be very dangerous.
